Commonwealth Sec Mini-league 19 Jun 09

The YCKS Bball team played a mini-league at Commonwealth Sec today. The two other participating schools were Presbyterian High School (PHS) and West Spring Secondary (WSS). The boys played well and did themselves and the school proud by winning two and drawing one out of the three games to emerge first in the mini-league. However, the highlight of the competition was beating PHS, the reigning 'B' Div National Champions, 40-33. Despite PHS not being at full-strength, it was still a morale boosting win for our players. There were a lot of positives to take home but there are also many things that YCKS Bball must continue to work on to become true champions.
